OVERVIEW OF
THE PICKLING VINEGAR

In the market today, the vinegar aisle is saturated with products that, for the most part, have no specific use in mind. With the rise in popularity of the pickling process and no presence of a vinegar brand with a specified use, we found an opportunity to create a pickling vinegar brand and package, specific to the process.

Pickling Vinegar Package Design

INSTRUCTION
& DESCRIPTION

The Pete & Piper Pickling Vinegar and Reusable Jars have a unique feature that is specific to the pickling process. The product contains two chambers, one with an opening at the top, and one that is able to drain the pickling liquid through a filter. The filter can be lifted to help users retrieve the contents in the jar, and can be removed for ease of cleaning. The jar is filled with the contents, sealed, then flipped upside down to allow all of the contents and pickling liquid to combine and pickle in the fridge for 24 hours. When the user is ready to eat the pickles, they can flip the jar again, unscrew the lid, and use the filter to lift out the contents and drain the pickling liquid.
